Bytecap Affiliate Program Terms
These terms govern participation in the Bytecap Affiliate Program. By applying or participating, you agree to them in addition to Bytecap’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and approval
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate application and payout information, and receive written or in-product approval from Bytecap before promoting yourself as an approved affiliate. Bytecap may approve, reject, suspend, or close an account at its discretion.
2. Qualified referrals
A qualified referral is a new Bytecap paying customer who uses your valid affiliate link, purchases an eligible self-serve subscription within the 30-day attribution window, and successfully completes payment. Existing or previous paying customers, Business or negotiated contracts, credit packs, taxes, refunds, account credits, fraudulent payments, and self-referrals are not eligible.
3. Attribution
Bytecap uses last eligible affiliate click attribution. A newer valid affiliate click may replace an earlier attribution before the customer’s first eligible payment. Attribution is locked after conversion. Bytecap’s records are authoritative when tracking is unavailable or disputed.
4. Commission
Approved affiliates earn 25% of net subscription revenue actually collected from a qualified referral during the first 12 months after that referral’s first eligible payment. Net revenue excludes taxes, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, credits, and payment reversals. Bytecap may change rates prospectively with notice.
5. Validation and payouts
Commission remains pending for at least 30 days after payment. Approved balances of at least $50 USD are eligible for monthly payout through PayPal. Affiliates are responsible for accurate payout details, fees charged by their payment provider, and all applicable taxes. Unpaid balances carry forward.
6. Promotion rules
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship and comply with advertising, endorsement, privacy, anti-spam, and platform rules. You may not make misleading claims, impersonate Bytecap, use cookie stuffing or forced clicks, distribute malware, send unsolicited messages, publish unauthorized coupons, or bid on Bytecap trademarks or confusing variations in paid search.
7. Self-referrals and abuse
You may not refer yourself, your business, controlled accounts, employees, household members for the purpose of earning commission, or otherwise manufacture transactions. Bytecap may request evidence of promotion and may disqualify referrals, reverse unpaid commission, offset future payouts, or suspend an account where abuse is suspected.
8. Brand use
Bytecap grants approved affiliates a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use provided brand assets solely to promote Bytecap. You may not alter logos in a misleading way, register domains or social handles containing Bytecap, or suggest that you are an employee, agent, or exclusive representative.
9. Termination
Either party may end participation at any time. On termination, you must stop using affiliate links and brand assets. Valid commission earned before termination may be paid after the validation period, except where the account was terminated for fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms.
10. Changes and contact
Bytecap may update these terms by posting a revised version. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
